ABOUT HOPE FOR RELIEF ORGANISATION-MALAWI
WHO WE ARE
Hope for Relief Organisation-Malawi is a youth-led non-profit organisation founded in 2013. We are registered under Malawian law (Reg. No. TR/INC 8909) and governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for oversight and accountability.
We work at grassroots level in Rumphi and Chitipa Districts, Northern Malawi — reaching women, adolescents, children and people living with HIV with health, education and economic empowerment programmes.
We are not an outside organisation coming in with solutions. We are part of the communities we serve — working alongside local leaders, families and individuals to build lasting change from within.
OUR VISION
Empowered communities where vulnerable members — women, adolescents and children — are able to sustain their lives.
OUR MISSION
To create empowered communities that actively participate in rural development through inclusion and collaboration.
OUR VALUES
- Community first — we listen before we act
- Inclusion — we reach the people others miss
- Accountability — we are answerable to the communities we serve
- Dignity — every person deserves to be treated with respect
- Collaboration — we work with, not for
OUR LEADERSHIP
